Description
Anorak is a Greenlandic word (annoraaq), and actually means a hooded, pull-over jacket that doesn’t open all the way up in the front. Our summer anorak is inspired by the colourful cotton anoraks that were popular in Greenland in the 1930s. Today, we use modern fabrics, but the cut is the same.
The Arnaaluk anorak design is inspired by the anoraks of former times when comfort, warmth and breathability were prized. Although the design is part of our heritage, the modern wool, polyester and elastane fabric makes the anorak wonderfully wearable and ensures ease of movement. The fabric means that it adjusts to the surrounding temperature for both indoor and outdoor wear.
Wear it year round as a transitional mid-layer or for hunting and other outdoor leisure activities. Arnaaluk has hidden side pockets for discreet storage of your essentials.
