Like other outdoor wear brands, Meqqusaalik must provide protection from the elements, but beyond that it must be able to withstand the wear and tear of hunting, fishing and working outdoors that is such a big part of our daily lives. It therefore made sense to have hunters and fishers test our first anorak designs. They are out in all types of weather and have tough requirements for the quality of their clothing, how it fits and whether it provides adequate protection when the weather gets rough.

They subjected our outdoor wear to storms, wilderness, hunting and everyday wear and tear, and based on their feedback, we made adjustments. The result is the anoraks you can buy today. Our Aputsiaq anorak and trousers are made from one of the world’s most durable materials, able to withstand wind, cold and rain – but also blood, fish scales and rugged use.
