Materials
This anorak is crafted from a cotton/polyester blend fabric for extra durability and wearability. It is windproof and waterproof with a water column of 15,000 mm and a breathability of 10,000 g/m2. For added resistance to harsh weather conditions, this anorak has been coated with a layer of eco DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish.
Aputsiaq has two-way side zips for effortless dressing/undressing or for venting excess body heat. The large kangaroo pouch pocket on the front features zipped side-entry for easy access. The pocket contains an extra inside pocket for small items.
The hood collar is adapted to our climate in being extra-high and with a wind block behind the neck zip for protection against cold winds and snow. The hood is weather-adjustable
at the front and back.
Our Aputsiaq anorak coordinates with the Aputsiaq overtrousers, but can also be paired with your own choice of outdoor wear.
Just as the anoraks worn by our ancestors were protected by amulets, the Aputsiaq anorak features our own Meqqusaalik amulet on the zip pulls, so you’re well protected against whatever awaits out in the wilds.
